Review of The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) by Zack E — 25 Jan 2015
As per usual with Wes Anderson films, The Grand Budapest Hotel is more style than substance. Anderson makes himself the star with his specific framing and cuts. The story takes an undeserved back seat and the movie suffers as result.
The final result isn't terrible, but it also isn't memorable either.
