Review of The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) by Aidan D — 13 Jan 2018
One of the best films of the decade. Historical, funny, tragic, and with that familiar symphony of color, sound and faces that comprise a Wes Anderson film. He brings us a legendary character we've never seen before because he's not around anymore.
A fanatical but earnest, hyper-civilized Byron-quoting romantic, whose routine is upended by war and aristocracy.
