Visually amazing - from the flamboyant architecture of the hotel to the fine detail of the clothing. The story pulls along with the familiar, pretentious cuts and movements to be expected in a Wes Anderson film, but does manage to find a bigger measure of heart than usual.
Mostly familiar members of the Anderson clan assemble to tell a quite simple story in broad strokes.
