There are a few funny moments and some of the characters are very funny but even as a fan of poker I found the movie to be a little boring. One thing this movie highlights well is just how much luck is involved in the game, but after attempting to make us care for the characters, to just watch them lose and be done to bad beats and random misfortune made for a bad movie.
May be worthwhile for die hard poker fans!
