Apparently largely improvised, this comedy about the competitors at a Vegas poker tournament turned out to be a lot more fun than I was expecting, despite Ray Romano. I could not place "The German" until I looked online and was astonished to discover it was director Werner (Fitzcarraldo/Nosferatu) Herzog!
