Great comedic cast in a Christopher Guest style mockumentary about professional poker. Now I was a poker addict from 14-21, I read all the books, played in tournaments, online, casinos, hell I even wrote papers in school about it! The game is ripe for comedy.
Now I laughed at 'The Grand' but it wasn't enough. Some people are hilarious like Dennis Farina, Chris Parnell and Werner Herzog, yes that Herzog. But outside of them the movie is barely chuckle laughs.
