Review of The Graduate (1967) by Will S — 16 Oct 2010
I'm not a big fan of Dustin Hoffman, but he's excellent in this American classic. He and the director, Mike Nichols, embody and capture the suffocating nature of life on the cusp of adulthood with startling and compelling accuracy as well as emotion.
The soundtrack is one of the best ever, and the supporting characters are on par with Hoffman.
