His Review: Coming in at #17 on the AFI Top 100 list, The Graduate is all together awkward, thrilling, emotional, funny, and just plain crazy! The story seems like it is going to be a coming-of-age romance then it turns into a romantic comedy with screwed up tendencies with Benjamin going after both Robinson girls. Nominated for 7 Academy awards, including acting nods for Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft, and Katherine Ross, and winning the Oscar for director Mike Nichols, The Graduate is a movie that can be enjoyed several decades after its release. It's actually hard for me to breakdown this movie any more than that because of the different genres this movie covers and the crazy nature of the story. It will make you feel more different emotions than any other movie I can think of. The ups and downs of The Graduate is well worth the viewing and deserves to be on the AFI list! Co-starring Murray Hamilton, Norman Fell, Richard Dreyfuss, and William Daniels.

8/10 Stars - Engaging, exciting and crazy - in a very good way!

Her Review: The Graduate is that iconic coming of age story taken to the extreme with a roller coaster of emotions to keep you hooked. I have to say everything about this movie is pretty much screwed up, but then as a reflection of life seems only logical for it to be at least a little out of whack. With that being said it is that aspect of the film that pretty much makes it timeless. Set and costumes aside this is definitely a movie that will be appreciated by generations yet to come. I can't say I would ever put The Graduate in my personal top 100 but it certainly deserves a permanent spot on the AFI. Now that I have given the movie its due, I am not sure how much more I can say. The whole movie is intriguing and just well weird at times. I think the thing I liked the least was the music. Sure hearing the song once or twice is cool but the whole soundtrack sounds the same and it gets repetitive and annoying. I am sure I am alone in saying that but well there it is. I am entitled to my opinion. Everyone should see The Graduate at one point in their life to really understand what film and life in general are about.

8/10 Stars - Down right nuts if you look too closely but a must see for any true film aficionado.
