Review of The Graduate (1967) by Jim H — 16 Feb 2015

A period piece that â" while the theme itself still holds up even 40 years after it was made â" the acting and directing seems very 60's.don't give me wrong: Hoffman and Bancroft are fantastic in the leads, and Ross gives a fine performance in a much smaller role than expected, but the movie is directed in such a short, abrupt way that it would likely not hold up in that same manner now.

Still an entertaining film that keeps your attention throughout most of the way.
