Review of The Graduate (1967) by Travis T — 24 Apr 2011
Especially poignant movie today, given the listlessness professed by many college grads in the current economy. Now I see what all the raving was about concerning Hoffman - absolutely spectacular in his role.
Ending of the movie is iconic in its own right, and is perfect in its tone. On a side note, I laughed more at this movie than I did at several recent comedies (i.e. Due Date), but I think that's more of a commentary on the sad state of affairs that modern comedy's in.
