Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie. However, there were so many things wrong with that are very difficult to overlook. On the positive side, Dustin Hoffman does an outstand job as Benjamin Braddock, an awkard college graduate who is not sure what to do with his life.

Hoffman really brings the character to life, he is hillarious yet serious. Bold yet shy. Confident yet sympathetic. Everything about his character worked. The other thing I loved about The Graduate was the music.

There are long scenes of classic rock music playing over montages of Benjamin driving or what Benjamin is thinking. The director's use of music is truly commendable. Unfortunately, the movie is riddled with errors.

For one, the plot goes in about four different directions for absolutely no reason. Some scenes dragged on for seemed like an eternity. The characters (with the excpetion of Benjamin Braddock) get very little character developement.

Also, the end of the movie seemed very rushed. I have no idea why this was, for the movie for only an hour and a half. Seriously, the credits in the end of the movie are the shortest credits I've ever seen in a movie (they last six seconds).

Despite all of this, it is a fun movie and I enjoyed watching it for a good laugh.
