Very interesting and quite messed up indeed. I can imagine this was quite a controversial film when it came out. However, this movie simply shows a boy running around wild unsure of what he wants and that remains unresolved by the end of the movie.
Maybe that was the point, showing how crazy life can make you when you're done with school and don't know where to go next, but it proved unsatisfying for me. However I must say that I have incredible respect for the ending of the movie, displaying the message in the most perfect way possible, a touch of brilliance by the director.
