Review of The Graduate (1967) by Adriano V — 01 Dec 2010
Maybe it's because of the fact that I wasn't alive during the 1960's, but the topical humor in this is dry, the satire didn't do it for me, none of the characters are likeable, the romance doesn't work, the ending is so cliche, and hearing paul simon music throughout just pisses me off.
It's obvious influences to film and incredible performaces prevent this overrated 1967 film from being an aged american "classic".
