This is the best Christian movie ever. The music is AWESOME and great modern version of the Prodigal Son Story. I did think that a scene or two was too worldly for a Christian film, ie the dancers in the night club (which I understand showing him still in the world) and the scene where he takes the girl to dinner in a club (they're drinking).

My fiancee and bought the DVD when it first came out the beginning of last yr. We had problems playing it, esp. in his expensive Sony DVD/VCR combo player. IT WOULDN'T PLAY AT ALL, and it's a film distributed by Sony Pictures and I had problems playing it on my Cyberhome DVD player at home, it would play fine until the last 20 minutes of the movie, then it would take 1 1/2 hrs just to play the last 20 min.

It kept freezing up. It did play on his LiteOn DVD recorder though, but he prefers to play DVDs on the Sony, b/c of better cables, connection and save the DVD recorder just for recording stuff of TV/VHS/audio.

We took the DVD back to Walmart (2 different stores) 3 times (one time, it had a different sticker on it, w/ a free CD) and still had problems w/ it. I called Sony's customer service # and got no help from their foriegn customer service rep on the line.

I even emailed Rainforest Films and Sony about it but never got a response back. It was the worst customer service I'd ever experienced. We never had any problems playing other DVDs. Other than that, it's still the best Christian movie ever.
