Atmospheric and largely well directed Hammer fare that's unfortunately hamstrung by a really dull script. The Gorgon, sister of Medusa, no less, hangs around a ruined castle somewhere in Central Europe occasionally "gorgonising" someone for no apparent reason and.
. that's your lot. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. Worth mentioning this is one of the few Hammer movies to shoot night scenes at night rather than "Hammer-time" (lunchtime with a filter).
