Review of The Goonies (1985) by Chris B — 27 Nov 2012
This is not a great movie, but it came out when I was about the same age as the kids in the movie and of course I really liked it then. Through my adult eyes I can see what the critics are saying in terms of the movie being formulaic and chaotic, but those truths are not enough to overcome the spark of nostalgia I feel every time I see it on television.
