Review of The Goonies (1985) by Damjan R — 18 Aug 2013
Featuring lots of heart and great comedic turns from Jeff Cohen as Chunk and Anne Ramsey as Mama Fratelli (w/ her epic slaps), The Goonies is family entertainment at its best. It's not the most sophisticated story, although it does have good pacing and equally it's not the best directed film, although the comedy is done well, but there is still value in it.
For a retro fun time with a film, Goonies can be a safe choice.
