Review of The Goonies (1985) by Nick C — 15 Jan 2014
The word classic gets used a lot these days, but this is a stone cold classic. It has everything, from a fat kid with probable type 2 diabetes who would give shakira a run for her money with that truffle shuffle, a chinese kid who is obviously really smart and great at inventing really useful gadgets , like the one that takes 3 hours to open the gate, and not too mention Sloth - who later went on to win a reality tv show and now resides in middlesborough, and plays shit pop songs.
The soundtrack is awesome, if you hear that and you don't instantly want to get caught up in some kind of wacky adventure, you may aswell just call it a day and unload a shotgun into your mouth. Better than Battlefield Earth.
