Review of The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009) by James S — 12 Feb 2010
WORST OF 2009 (Tied with YEAR ONE).
I can honestly say I can't remember laughing during any part of this movie. If there was anything funny then I've already forgotton it.
Terrible, trashy movie that is full of things that should not be anywhere near a comedy and shouldn't be considered funny at all.
The cast did all right for the most part, Piven played the sleazeball Don Ready to a tee and fit in the role well, but not enough to save the movie.
One of the worst comedies of 2009 and should be avoided at all costs. Skip it completely.
END OF THE CREDITS: Towards the very end of the credits watch two lines repeated over and over again for the next 3 minutes set to a "music" beat.
"Just like John Wilkes Booth our prices are going to sneak up behind you and blow your brains out!".
