Review of The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009) by Tom M — 19 Feb 2010

Going into this movie I was not expecting alot from it, pureley because it had been panned big time in America. But ive got to say, this film is totaly my kind of humor and it had me laughing alot.

It had a real strong cast. Jeremy Piven was excelent as Don Ready, he had slight elements to his charecter in Entourage. Ed Helms was playing the 'douche' really well. It looked like there was a descent chemistry between Don Ready's 'mercanary' sales team. With all the support cast having some really good lines to. Its good to see that they shared the the good lines around the cast.

I did like the script alot, and I know that Will Ferrell was a producer of it, but it defanatly felt like one of his movies. It had the kind of strange/lame jokes and one liners thats in most of Will Ferrell movies,without needing him in a leading role (although he had a half descent cameo).

All in all I would defanatly watch this film again, its good, but not a classic, with a strong comedy ensamble. Odds are I would buy it to.
