Review of The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009) by Cheryl B — 25 Jun 2010
There is a stink about this film that is one part laziness and two parts desperation. "The Goods" is less an actual movie and more a series of vignettes, short "scenes" that range from mildly amusing to downright offensively inept.
There's the feeling of throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks in about every bit, of vulgarity and raunchiness as a last resort for laughs without a hint of cleverness, of a hope that old men screaming obscenities over and over again will distract weary audiences away from how poorly constructed this film is.
