Brought to you by will ferrell's production company. The Goods doesn't deserve the red-headed stepchild treatment it's been getting. Sure it's not the "hangover" but it's definitely worth a release on blu-ray which it wasn't for some odd reason and didn't deserve the pull back/partial release on dvd either.
It's a typical funny, enjoyable and very predictable save the day comedy that's been around forever and there have been worse. The goods is by far not one of the worse. Jeremy Piven is really enjoyable in his role, kinda similar to his ari role on entourage, but a bit more nicer.
The supporting cast is a who's who in supporting cast comedies. Guys like David Koechner, Ken Jeong, Ed Helms and Craig Robinson have been in more top comedies in the past decade then I can name.
