Review of The Goodbye Girl (1977) by Daniel P — 21 Aug 2007
Actor Richard Dreyfuss forced to live with single mother Marsha Mason. Neil Simon's dialogue is way too clever. Still, Dreyfuss is hilarious, and he has great chemistry with Mason.
There is a way to play Richard III as gay without making him an offensive lithping thtereotype, and if Dreyfuss' character can't do it, then he's a bad actor. But then, that wouldn't be funny - non-PC, but still funny.
