A good intro, a great score, a somewhat clever story and some apt characterization go a long way but the horrendous pacing keeps the Good the Bad and the Ugly from being something truly special. Those who can look past it's pacing issue (which it does share with most Westerns) will find a lot to like but everyone else will feel like it was all just time wasted.
