So many modern action directors (most notably Tarantino) are heavily inspired by this film and the other works of the brilliant Sergio Leone. If you're looking for the most raw and iconic performance by Clint Eastwood, look no further than this film.
His character's unique relationship with Tuco is what really keeps our interest throughout the entire 161 minutes.
