Easily my favorite western of all time, "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" tells the story of three men who are all after a cache that is hidden somewhere. The film tells three separate tales that all converge around the midway point, then break away, only to be reunited for the climactic ending.

The acting from the primary three is great, with everyone playing their roles beautifully. The visuals are amazing as we get beautiful shots of the old west from many different locations that all seem to blend together like an old painting.

The ending is one of the best endings of any western that I have seen. Without spoiling anything, the mixture of a grand musical score and the great acting make for what I refer to as a "gun ballet".

It is, to me, the greatest western of all time, and any fan of the western genre should definitely check it out.
