Review of The Good Son (1993) by Clifford B — 08 Jan 2009
Good movie, I remember it being controversial, parents being warned that despite starring the two biggest child-actors of the 90's, that it was NOT a family film, as if they needed to be told since its rated R.
Its an upsetting and unsettlling movie, but its message needed to be said, especially since the ever-growing liberal ideals from the bs side of child psychology(& psychology in general), that evil isnt real, and that deep down children(and everyone) is/and wants to be good. Wishful thinking sadly. But it didnt have a hopeless message, it shows the good in people too, so there is a ray of light.
