Review of The Good Shepherd (2006) by Corey N — 14 Jun 2009
This was a excellent film directed by Robert DeNiro. Matt Damon gives a top notch performance in this film about the beginings of the CIA. The film is not your usual spy thriller. It shows the character development of Edawrd Wilson from a young man to joinging the CIA and then having a family of his own.
But never being able to discuss his life or show any real emotional to friends and family due to his job in the CIA. The film is long but woth watching. Plus a great supporting cast with Robert DeNiro, Aneglina Jolie, Joe Pesci, William Hurt, John Turturro, Alec Baldwin and Timothy Hutton.
A great film for those who would enjoy a spry thriller mixed with a bit of drama.
