Fundamentally this has an interesting story about the birth of the CIA, but the film is far too long and ponderous. The film progresses unimaginatively from scene to scene with a slow pace, making it all a very tiring experience.
The movie offers some good performances from great actors but even they can't make it any better, especially when the main character is just a log of wood.
