Review of The Good Shepherd (2006) by Matthew O — 17 Mar 2013
This movie has a great cast, is well acted and well directed by De Niro. It's a classic tale of a man who made his bed and now has to lie in it. You get to see the choices he should have made and the consequences of the choices he did make.
He "served" his country to the exclusion of all else. In spite of all this film has going for it, I don't have a need to watch it again. I felt like it was a little too down and unredeeming.
