Review of The Good Shepherd (2006) by Matthew L — 18 Dec 2013
Too long and too boring. The movie jumps all over the place as well, with various characters and plots over a period of 30 or so years. It's the type of movie that requires you to pay attention, but makes it hard to do so with the length and cold dreary acting.
When the main character is so monotone and unlikable, you don't care what happens. Intentional or not. Also, Damon's character hardly seems to age over all that time.
