Review of The Good Night (2007) by James A — 18 Jul 2008
Think of it as the surreal-art house-student film answer to a romantic comedy.
Even though its pretty slow and at the end it doesn't really add up, this movies esoteric look at depression, escapism, and love vs lust through the dream state, are enough to make it worth a look. As well as its amazing cast, The Good Night was probably one of 2007s best kept secrets.
