Review of The Good Neighbor (2016) by Wendy D — 18 Oct 2016
You know when it starts getting interesting? With about 15 minutes left to go. Some "borrowed" ideas from other hidden camera/voyeuristic movies like Disturbia, this one plays out as boring as it can.
The entire buildup revolves around these obnoxious loser teens who torment this poor man. It went beyond just trying to scare the neighbor, and frankly, I was rooting for James Caan's character to dish out some payback on these idiots.
The surprise ending was well done, but the rest of the movie just plain stunk.
