Review of The Good Lie (2014) by Rodrigo V — 04 Oct 2014
My wife and I enjoy watching movies very much and during our Saturday date night we decided to make it a double matinee which we do every now and then. The Good Lie was our second movie and I have to say we should have seen it first.
This was a very interesting look into the life of those children who go through so many hardships and obstacles in their young life. Tragedy, disaster and horrible circumstances that leave them scarred for life.
The movie did not depict all of the atrocities but rather focused on the path of 4 young orphans who achieve success and reach a better life in America through the help and support of people who really care.
It was touching, warm, sad, exciting, at times comical and at the end I felt a connection with these four young children as they became strong independent individuals. I took note of the web page and actually want to help and support this cause in some way, shape or form.
