Review of The Good Lie (2013) by Cody L — 30 Dec 2014
This movie is simply a wonderful story about a very real and immensely sad part of history. It celebrates the culture of Africa from which we Americans are far, far removed. What is nice is that it is not sad, it is touching.
I commend Witherspoon for taking on new characters and moving beyond the romantic, blonde roles. The "Lost Boys of Sudan" are wonderful in their roles and portray the strong innocence that the tribal cultures impart.
See this film.
