Review of The Good Girl (2002) by Sarah B — 10 Mar 2009
A weird and quirky film, Aniston looks a little out of place, but she is outstanding. Gyllenhaal is made for this film and his part. Tries to be too much like Salinger though, which is kind of the point.
Ultimately the film fails in its attempt to portray the nihilism of modern life. There has to be something or someone to latch onto, it can't be completely nihilistic. Guess I didn't get Salinger so I didn't get this film.
