Review of The Good Girl (2002) by Kevin D — 30 Apr 2012
It's pretty predictable at times and a few characters leap off the deep end and seem a bit too looney for a film like this...but at the same time this movie has an unexpected and startling spell about.
There are moments of brilliance and great insight in The Good Girl. It's a hard movie not to like. This is Jennifer Aniston's best screen performance to date, and it will probably remain that way if she continues starring in mainstream comedies.
This flawed dark comedy won't meet everyone's taste, but I found a soft spot for it.
