Review of The Good Girl (2002) by Anna D — 14 Nov 2007
I'm not a huge fan of Aniston, but she plays joesephine very well. I think this was the first movie that I really understood that cinema isn't always perfect, and the audience isn't always meant to understand the choices made by the main character.
Although I sympathized with Aniston's character, I was angry that she didn't run away with Holden. It made me realize that she truly was the 'good girl' because she did the right thing.
She owned up to her mistakes and made it right. Understood that her husband may not always be perfect, but loves her just the same. Good film.
