Does not do a good job of conveying the 'weight' of the circumstances motivating the characters. Concealing genocide, Soviet expansion, Atomic weapons, missile technology - serious stuff but the way the story is told, they all seem petty, making the protagonistsâ?? dilemma trivial.
Not as a bad a film as the critics claim though.
