Review of The Good German (2006) by Raphael S — 17 Jan 2008
Some nice bits but far too self-conscious. Oooo. It's a film noir-esque film so lets have a scene in a Post-WW2 French cinema - the same place the term "film noir" was first developed! Oooooo! How clever, post-modern and self-reflexive! Just make an interesting film, for George and Cate's sake!
