Review of The Good German (2006) by Al N — 09 Feb 2008
A great homage piece to 40's movies. The score, cinematography and sets were excellent but I just wish the story would have been on a par. Kate Blanchett was on top form once again but Tobey Maguire was miscast and the violence and sex was a bit OTT for the type of film it was aspiring to be.
