Not Clooney's best film, but an interesting experiment in recreating 40's film noir. From a technical view point all the elements are right, even down to the script and it's delivery. I was disappointed that the critics panned this perhaps they have forgotten that film making is not about hyper fast MTV-style editing and CGI effects.
