Review of The Good German (2006) by Ted W — 15 Apr 2008

This is one of the first movies I've seen in a long time that I truly thought was bad. The whole movie is based around this women who fucks with every guy shes around. You two thirds of the way through the movie before you even begin to understand whats really going on.

The idea is pure enough, a women trying to help out her husband. But god damn, talk about a script very poorly put together. I enjoyed that it was done back and white. Cloony was his same mediocre self.

I think the movie give you an interesting look into peacetime Germany after WWI, considering their aren't many feature length movies on the time. But a very slow developing movie coupled with a poorly written script makes for one bad movie.
