Review of The Good German (2006) by Phillipa R — 06 Aug 2008
I appreciate what the filmmakers were doing with capturing the style of the 40s and the throwbacks to The Third Man and Casablanca. But the story never drew me in. I could care less what happened to the characters, and when we got to the end I said "so what?" Clooney and Soderbergh could have done much better.
