I wanted to like this... I really did. But I just couldn't get into this film. It looked gorgeous - I love Black and White movies that are well lit (such as this), but the plot left something to be desired.
Blanchett and Clooney did great with what they were given. The poster harkens back to classics like Casablanca, but this just doesn't hold up. I appreciate the effort to do something "different" when compared to other recent films.
.. but this just didn't work.
