Review of The Good Dinosaur (2015) by Nando H — 10 Feb 2016

While the dinosaurs felt a bit too cartoonish for Pixar, this was an enjoyable and heartfelt success. The meaning of family and belonging are always worth crying for. There were some parallelism with The Lion King, and maybe that's why it didn't feel as original as past Pixar movies.

So, we can say this is Pixar's interpretation of The Lion King, with no king. Overall, a great movie by Pixar, but not as original. B+.
