Review of The Good Dinosaur (2015) by April W — 29 Sep 2016
This is The Lion King - if Simba spent the entire move all alone except for the buzzards and a puppy, only the buzzards can talk and the puppy can't. Complete with the Stampede scene, the Stand-on-a-Rock-and-Learn-to-Roar scene, there is even a scene where Arlo's dead father appears to him as a blurry image in the sky to remind him who he is, and he runs after it as it disperses begging it not to leave him.
It's a bad retelling of The Lion King with gorgeous backgrounds but a main character that would not look out of place in a Wallace and Gromit cartoon.
