This show introduced true 'trash TV'. Without The Gong Show there would be no American Idol or America's Got Talent. The movie itself is rather boring but it is the various actual Gong Show skits taken from the actual show itself that makes this movie entertaining to watch.
Just get your fast-forward finger ready to fast-forward to the best parts.
