Review of The Golden Compass (2007) by Keenan S — 26 Oct 2012
Contrary to Roger Ebert's statement about this film being better than both The Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter, it is not. However, I did enjoy The Golden Compass and think that it is underrated.
While the story can be convoluted and confusing, the action is great, the music is fantastic, the acting is also great, and the visuals look spectacular. Too bad there was never a sequel because now I was left hanging by the ending.
