Review of The Golden Compass (2007) by Berenice B — 26 Dec 2012

I felt it should have been longer. The film felt like a series of introductions to a variety of characters followed by a couple of events. I'm sure this is down to having to remove bits from the book for time constraints, but I felt the story seemed to be lacking something.

Hopefully the other two films in the trilogy will be better now that the main characters have been established.
